Q: How big is the bus?
A: This big. ::waves arms:: Actually, we don't have any exact measurements but it's at least 7' across because Dave can stretch out, and we estimate the clearance at 11' after the AC unit. It's probably about 22' long.

Q: What qualifies as a chain restaurant?
Our restaurant policy basically only restricts us from franchises (with a special exception for the In-n-Out) so local "chains" with 5-10 locations all owned by the same person are acceptable. Of course, if the chain is national, it's also out of the question (ex: Dardin restaurants). Basically, it doesn't have to be Mom and Pop, but we'd prefer it. Our goal is to visit places, eat food, and meet people that we would never see in orlando.

Q: What is the air speed velocity of a laiden swallow?
A: Shut up.

Q: Why aren't you going to Vegas or the Grand Canyon? Are you stupid?
A: 1) Unfortunately, while both Pete and Dave would like to see the both of those, it simply doesn't fall along our route this trip. Both places are trips in themselves and both pete and dave will be visiting them soon. 2) Sorry, only one question at a time.

Q: Where do you guys get internet access?
A: so far we've been fairly lucky with stealing bandwidth. As you can see with some of the posts, some of our favorite places are hotel lobbys, and family neighborhoods. We have had some trouble in some areas, but for the most part if we open the laptop and drive around we can usually find someone who wants to support the cause.

Q: What are the future plans for the bus?
A: Immediately after our trip, the bus will be used to move pete into his brother's condo and for random trips to the beach and downtown with the back filled with friends. Dave's brother and cronies are renting the bus for their own roadtrip out west. After that roadtrip, Dave hopes to turn the bus into a hydrogen/electric hybrid...that is unless someone offers us mad dough to sell the bus...hint..hint.
